Meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan
Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The agenda included the results of the work of the military and law enforcement agencies of the country for January-April of this year, issues of ensuring security and stability in our independent Fatherland, strengthening the material and technical base of the security forces, as well as further improving their activities.

Turkmen weightlifters won 12 medals at the World Championships in Peru
Turkmen weightlifters won 12 medals at the recently concluded World Youth (U17) and Junior (U20) Championships held in Lima, Peru. The competition featured 531 athletes (265 women and 266 men) from 77 countries, competing in ten men’s and ten women’s weight categories.
