The international exhibition "Women Artists of the Turkic world" has been organized in the Gallery of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition brought together talented artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. The exhibition features a variety of works covering a wide range of genres and styles, from traditional craft art to bold modern experiments.
nternational representatives had the opportunity to get acquainted with the works of artists Guncha Gochmuradova and Khatija Amansakhedova, vividly conveying the national flavor and the originality of the culture of the Turkmen people.
As teachers at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, the artists also participated in the International Festival of Traditional Fine and Applied Arts dedicated to the Year of Environmental Protection and the "Green" Economy, which was held in Tashkent from April 21 to 25, 2025.
Within the framework of the festival, Turkmen artists got acquainted with the historical monuments and cultural heritage of Samarkand and Bukhara, and also took part in a conference where they shared their work and told about the unique features of the national art of Turkmenistan.
The festival, organized with the aim of popularizing the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples, developing international creative exchange and supporting young talents, has become an important platform for strengthening cultural ties between the countries.
