The UNICEF office in Turkmenistan announces the start of accepting applications for the youth summer climate school in Ashgabat. The initiative is aimed at enhancing the skills of young people in combating climate change, reducing disaster risks to achieve sustainable development.

The platform will provide an opportunity for learning and networking in the fight against climate change to ensure a meaningful role for youth in national and international climate policy. People aged 16 to 25 years with a high level of English language can submit application. The school will run until August: June 3-5 - opening of the youth eco-camp, June 18-19 - second session, July 2-3 - third session, July 16-17 - fourth session, July 30-31 - fifth session and August 13-14 final session. Participants must complete three mandatory online courses to receive the corresponding certificate for participation.
