The installation of modern laboratory equipment within the framework of the project "Strengthening clinical and laboratory services in Turkmenistan", implemented by the United Nations Development Program has completed in Turkmenistan.

10 sets of IMMULITE 2000 XPI equipment have been installed in the medical centers of the velayats, Ashgabat and Arkadag cities. The equipment allows for the diagnosis of various diseases by chemiluminescent analysis (CIM).

Beyond that,, 15 RAPIDPoint 500e Blood Gas System kits have been installed in regional centers, which allow for home diagnostics of the gas and acid-base composition of the blood.

Medical institutions are provided with reagents and supplies to start working on this type of equipment, and training sessions have been conducted for laboratory specialists.
